Promoting and supporting emotional wellbeing in the children who come to Little Caterpillars is something that we care deeply about.

We believe that children who do not feel that sense of security, safety and happiness are not likely to thrive in the other areas of learning and development.  A child who is unsettled or unhappy will not usually want to get involved with all the wonderful experiences and opportunities that we have here for them and ultimately they may not reach their full potential.  We do not want that for any child and so we have in place a number of strategies that we use to ensure that all children here are able to enjoy:

playing, learning, listening...

creating, feeling, touching...

exploring, seeing, discovering...

doing..

being themselves...
