When children are between 36 and 60 months old we continue to build upon the skills and learning that they have already have.  As they approach compulsory school age it is our responsibility to prepare them for school.   We continue to do this through play and experiences and activities will still be individually tailored to each child's stage of development.  Some children may be achieving the early learning goals in some or all areas and where this is the case we will continue to challenge and stretch them using our knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.  Your child may receive their free early education place here at Little Caterpillars or at another setting such as a school nursery.  Where they do attend other settings we will work in partnership with them and try to make their whole early education experience as seamless as possible.
